Let’s Talk Sports
Friday 4pm to 6pm
Let’s Talk Sports made its KQNA debut on July 8, 1994. Sanford Cohen and Mike Austin have continued to host the show ever since. Joined in 1999 by Ron Corak (a.k.a. “The Doctor”) the show has been a fixture on the local sports scene and played a direct role in securing the rights to Arizona Cardinals Football, Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball, Phoenix Coyotes and Arizona Sundogs Hockey broadcasts. The highlight moment was on the field in Arizona after the Diamondbacks won the 2001 World Series. Sanford, Mike and Doc did a live post game interview with David DelLucci as the championship trophy was awarded.
Together, they have provided interviews and insights at events ranging from Championship Boxing to MLB All Star Games to Major College Bowl Games. Their knowledge of sports history, combined with the in-depth interview style unique to the program has established “Let’s Talk Sports” as the gold standard for sports talk in Arizona.
